Heavenly Father,
I come before You tonight with a heart seeking Your stillness. I thank You for the gift of this day and for the breath in my lungs. Lord, I ask for Your healing hand to rest upon all those who are suffering—for the patients in hospital beds and those carrying quiet burdens. Give them strength in their weakness and the peace that passes all understanding.
Lord, grant me the gift of grace. Help me to truly listen to those around me, to see them through Your eyes, and to respond with a love that is patient and kind.
I lift up my husband and my children to You. I pray that they feel the depth of my love every single day, but more importantly, that they feel Your perfect love surrounding them. In the moments where I fall short, where I am tired or impatient,
I ask for Your forgiveness. Help my family to find the spirit of reconciliation, just as You have reconciled us to Yourself. We remember tonight that we are not defined by our mistakes, but by the Cross. Thank You, Jesus, for Your sacrifice—for the blood shed and the life given so that we might live in freedom. May Your grace be the foundation of my home and the song of my heart.
